The beginning of the Holy Week: Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Palm Sunday reminds us of the beginning of the Holy week which reminds us when the people of Jerusalem welcome Jesus waving palm branches and crying 'Hosanna Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the coming kingdom of our ancestor David! Hosanna in the highest heaven!"(Mark 11:9-10). Traditionally, to celebrate, Christians will receive Palm Branches which will be then used after the mass, waving, and a sprinkling of Holy water as a Blessing. In other churches, Palm Sunday is regarded as a Sunday of passion.
Palm Sunday is usually celebrated by Buying Palm branches or 'palaspas' from vendors and going to church to have it blessed.
